What documentation is involved while selling a car?

While selling the car it’s essential to ensure the following documentation is in order:

What are the 160 point checks?

At Carnation every car is put through stringent 160-point checks of various systems including engine, transmission, brakes, clutch, suspension, steering, electrical, heating / AC system, body, documentation, etc to ensure that the reliability & integrity of the vehicle and the documentation are not compromised.

The inspection is performed by our trained executives involving visual inspection, noise inspection, road test, diagnostics, etc to ensure that the car is accident free (no frame damage), free of flood damage and all the major systems of the vehicle are in good running condition. Further, this inspection includes the amount of reconditioning the vehicle needs, checking of documents for number of previous owners, insurance, hypothecation details, etc to ensure that no detail is missed.

What is Carnation’s Certification process?

Only certain models that are up to 7 years of age, not exceeding 2 ownerships and 80,000 Kilometers, and good condition vehicles (Non Accidental, Non Rusted, Non Flooded with no major defects) are certified by us. Further, the cars are reconditioning at state-of-the-art multi-brand workshops using genuine parts. And then the designated service engineers inspect the cars and certify them, only then these cars are sold to you with Carnation Warranty.

Can I get warranty & free services on preowned cars from Carnation?

Only Certified Cars that meet our certification criteria come with a warranty up to 1 year on engine & gear box and 2 free services. 

What are Value Cars?

Cars that don’t meet our Certification Criteria, but otherwise are in average to good running condition, are offered to you as Value Cars. These vehicles are sold to you on As Is Where Is basis without any Reconditioning, Certification and Warranty.

Where can I avail Carnation Warranty & Free Services?

You can avail these services across all Carnation HUBs in India. You need to carry the Warranty Care booklet along with you.
