Why should you sell your car at Carnation?

Carnation’s Price offer is based on Vehicle Condition & Documents: Our trained evaluators check various factors that affect the price of the car like car like age, mileage, number of ownerships, condition of various systems of the car like engine, transmission, interior, exterior, etc verify the documents like RC, Insurance, service history, etc and offer you the right price.
Selling your car made easy at Carnation:  Once you have decided to sell the car, our executive will complete the following documentation from our seller documentation kit:

• Transaction related documents: Sale Letter where you will mention the amount at which the car is being sold
• Finance & Insurance related documents: NOC / Form 35 from financier, Insurance Transfer document
• Transfer related documents: Various documents are involved like Form-28, Form-29, form-30, etc based on the nature of the transaction

Once the documentation is complete, the payment towards the purchase of the car is processed by us and we will make the full payment to you by Cheque or Demand Draft based on your requirement within 48 hours.
Please note: Carnation does not charge any commission or fee for evaluation of the car or when you choose to sell it to us. We also don’t ask you to sign on any blank documents, and do not make any cash payments.
Payment & delivery of the car:  Our executive shall inspect the vehicle again to ensure that there is no major change in the condition of the car and hand over the payment to you. You need to provide the following documents along with the car:

• Original Registration Certificate
• Copy of Insurance Policy
• Pollution Certificate
• Keys including duplicate
• Owner’s manual of the car
• Manual & warranty booklet for retro fitments like central locking, CNG / LPG kit, etc
• Payment receipt duly signed by you for the amount the car is sold
• Delivery note

  Once the car is taken by Carnation it’s refurbished and sold to the next customer or wholesaled to our panel of dealers. Once the car is sold and the RC is transferred in the name of the next buyer the copy of the transferred RC is provided to you.
If you choose to sell your car you need to ensure the following:

• First and foremost is do not sell a car to someone you don’t know, this could be risky and lead to problems. If a stranger approaches you for buying your car it is important that you establish his / her identity by verifying ID Proof, Address Proof, etc and ensure you keep a copy of the same with you.
• Don’t neglect documentation. Ensure you keep a copy of all documents involved during the process and the RC & Insurance are duly transferred.
• Ensure the RC is transferred in the name of the buyer. If the RC is not transferred and the buyer of the does any violation of traffic rules, break the law, or meets with accident, you at a disadvantage.
• Don’t go by verbal communication. Selling a car is a financial transaction involving money and statutory requirements. Please ensure all the transaction is documented properly and all the documentation related to Finance, Insurance, Registration, etc are duly filled up and signed both by you and the buyer.
